Dr. Albert Schumacher

Founder and visionary of the SRLG, Dr. Schumacher first conceived the idea of hosting leadership training sessions back in his days as the President of the Ontario Medical Association, when he noticed the lack of mentoring among medical students. Nearly ten years later, Dr. Schumacher has hosted over 20 medical student training weekends, spoken at well over 100 different medical, political and social events, and the list goes on and on.

Kim Newlands-Stacey

Operational Manager of the SRLG, Kim really is the mechanics working behind the whole organization. With over six years experience working in the public relations realm, particularly among the medical community, she is valuable asset to our core team.

Veronique Mandal

Another of our  media training specialists, Veronique brings her extensive knowledge of all types of Canadian media to training participants. She has over thirty years of experience in radio, theatre, print, and television, and has been the recipient of numerous awards in the field of media.

Brett Kelly

The SRLG's resident grassroots organizer, Brett has been politically involved for most his life. With experience at the local, provincial, national levels of government, he brings a phenomenal amount of insight to the political system in all it's branches.

Mike Vourakes

As an award winnging entrepeneur and businessman, Mike plays a vital role in training participants in the areas of hospitality and etiquette in business and other professional situations.

Kris Schumacher

The elder of Dr. Schumacher's two sons, Kris is a journalism graduate from the University of Ottawa who works at the Prince Rupert Daily News in British Columbia. Currently the SRLG's photographer and publication manager, Kris is responsible for handling SRLG's media relations.

Adrian Schumacher

A graduate of Fanshawe College's Television Broadcasting program, Adrian runs all the technical and multi-media aspects of our training sessions. Currently pursuing a career in TV production in Alberta, Adrian is our expert on all the  technology involved in our training weekends. 

Kari Cuss

As a specialist in government and media relations, Kari trains clients in strategy and tactics involving communications from the smallest event planning  to the largest corporate crisis. With her own company catering to both the private and public sectors, the SRLG depends on her expertise for training sessions and our own comapny practices.
